Welcome
to our website. Many of the visitors to our site have had, or are
expecting to have, some experience with a premature baby. We know that
there is a wealth of information and advice about prematurely born
babies, however unfortunately most of it takes no notice of the
realities of mothers in this situation. Our
objective is to advocate for mothers to stay with their premature and
very sick newborns. Currently,
in most neonatal intensive care units mothers become visitors to their
babies.
We would like mothers to be given the opportunity (as is their
right) to room in with their baby or babies for as much of their
infant’s stay as they see fit.
